The Meherali Family Story
Founded by Rafiq Meherali, who came to America at 14, Perfumes of the World has grown from humble beginnings into a globally recognized brand and the leading wholesale fragrance distributor in the United States.
Rafiq, a Platinum Partner of Tony Robbins and Chair of the Asian American Chamber of Commerce, remains deeply hands-on in daily operations. His entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to quality have shaped the company's identity and culture.
Together with his wife Sonita Meherali (CEO), who oversees investments and operations, and their daughters Kimaya (CMO) and Kiaana, the Meherali family has built a business rooted in passion, authenticity, and excellence. Rafiq's father, Ramzan, remains an integral and beloved part of the team.
